An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join the team on a temporary basis. 

Who You Are 

  • You have 3+ years of recent Conflicts Attorney experience, ideally within a large or multi-office law firm 
  • JD required, with active bar admission 
  • Strong knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct and conflicts analysis 
  • Experienced with new business intake, lateral hire intake, or both 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and client-service skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Intapp experience preferred 

What You’ll Do 

  • Conduct and analyze conflicts searches for new clients, matters, lateral hires, and other firm activity 
  • Identify potential conflicts and assist with clearance and resolution 
  • Draft conflict waivers and support Intake Attorneys with complex reviews 
  • Assist with new business and lateral intake projects 
  • Train attorneys and staff on conflicts and intake procedures 
  • Participate in rotating evening and weekend conflicts coverage 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Conflicts issues are identified and escalated accurately and efficiently 
  • Attorneys receive responsive guidance throughout the intake process 
  • New business and lateral matters move through conflicts review smoothly and on schedule 

 

Pay Rate Range:  $85-95 per hour, based on experience 

Location:  Fully remote, but must reside within commuting distance of an office in one of the following locations -- Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, DC
