Description
A leading law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to support conflicts clearance, new business intake, and ethics-related matters. This role works closely with attorneys and firm leadership on conflict analysis and resolution.
Who You Are
- You have a J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Conflicts department experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion
What You'll Do
- Analyze conflicts reports for new matters, lateral hires, and intake requests
- Research issues, advise attorneys, and support conflict resolution efforts
- Draft waivers, consents, and implement ethical walls
- Review intake forms, engagement letters, and client guidelines
- Partner with Conflicts Counsel and General Counsel on conflicts-related matters
What Success Looks Like
- Conflicts issues are identified and resolved efficiently
- Attorneys receive clear, timely guidance
- Intake and conflicts processes remain accurate and compliant
- Multiple deadlines are managed effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 (annually based on experience)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
