Description
Join a leading global law firm as a Senior Real Estate Paralegal, supporting sophisticated real estate transactions and financing matters. This role focuses on title and survey review, due diligence, & transaction closings.
Who You Are
- You have 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a large law firm or title company
- You have hands-on experience with title and survey review, due diligence, & real estate transactions
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, with strong organizational, communication, & time-management skills
- You can independently manage competing deadlines, maintain confidentiality, & work additional hours as needed
What You’ll Do
- Review title and survey materials, resolve issues, & coordinate transaction due diligence
- Support mortgage and mezzanine loan closings, including document preparation & distribution
- Order UCC, litigation, judgment, & bankruptcy searches and prepare UCC filings
- Coordinate recording, closing sets, custodial deliveries, & post-closing requirements
- Maintain accurate time records and meet a minimum of 1,650 annual billable hours
What Success Looks Like
- Complex transactions close accurately and within demanding deadlines
- Title, survey, & due diligence matters are resolved proactively
- Attorneys and transaction parties receive reliable, organized support throughout the closing process
Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000 + paid OT (annually based on experience)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, 4 days in office)
