A leading law firm is looking for an Assistant Managing Clerk to join their dynamic litigation practice that spans commercial disputes, regulatory matters, white-collar defense, and personal injury.   

Who You Are 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm environment  
  • Strong knowledge of CPLR, FRCP, and court filing procedures  
  • Experienced with CourtAlert or CompuLaw Milana, along with PACER, NYSCEF, eTrack, and eCourts  
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage urgent deadlines  
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills  
  • Notary preferred  

What You’ll Do 

  • Calculate and calendar litigation deadlines based on applicable court rules  
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the firm’s docketing system  
  • Coordinate state and federal court filings and review documents for compliance  
  • Monitor court activity, case developments, and new filings  
  • Conduct docket research, retrieve court records, and answer procedural inquiries  
  • Coordinate service of process and support the Managing Clerk with litigation-related projects

  • Deadlines are tracked accurately and met consistently  
  • Docketing records remain complete and reliable  
  • Filings are submitted correctly and on time  
  • Attorneys receive responsive, knowledgeable procedural support  
  • Time-sensitive matters are handled with precision and attention to detail 

Salary Range:  $90,000 – 112,000 annually, based on experience 

Location:  New York, NY – Hybrid
