Description

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Corporate Event Planner to join the team on a temporary basis. This assignment has an estimated length of approximately six months. 

Who You Are 

  • You have 5+ years of event planning experience within a law firm, professional services, or other corporate environment  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills  
  • Experienced with event technology platforms such as Cvent or similar tools  
  • Skilled at managing vendors, stakeholders, budgets, and logistics  
  • Client-focused with excellent communication and attention to detail  

What You’ll Do 

  • Plan and execute client-facing and internal events across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats  
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, registration, and attendee communications  
  • Partner with attorneys and business development teams to deliver impactful programs  
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, reporting, and post-event evaluations  
  • Support conferences, sponsorships, networking events, and educational programs

  • Attendees receive an engaging and well-executed experience  
  • Budgets and timelines are managed effectively  
  • Stakeholders receive responsive, solutions-oriented support  
  • Events contribute to business development and relationship-building goals 

Pay Rate Range:  $52-58 per hour, based on experience 

Location:  New York, NY – Hybrid (Primarily remote, but requires on-site presence for events)
