Our client is a top consulting firm. They are seeking an experienced Resource Manager to join their team on a temporary basis to oversee the internal deployment of consultants across dynamic, project-based work. This position is fully remote, based on the East Coast, and has the potential to go perm!
Who You Are
- A resourceful professional with at least 4 years of experience in a professional services or partnership-based environment
- Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
- Skilled in managing scheduling logistics from intake to resolution, with a strong grasp of capacity planning and resource alignment
- Confident communicator who can engage with team leads, consultants, and leadership across levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools, with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy
- Adaptable and proactive, with a natural sense of urgency and a drive to improve processes
- Experienced in facilitating conversations around resource allocation, availability, and utilization
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Talent Managers to coordinate internal staffing across client-facing projects
- Manage scheduling requests end-to-end, ensuring the right people are matched to the right work
- Monitor team capacity and identify potential gaps or conflicts in availability
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve scheduling challenges and optimize resource deployment
- Track and report on utilization trends, helping inform staffing decisions and forecasting
- Support the development and consistency of staffing processes across teams and offices

- Scheduling conflicts are resolved quickly and collaboratively, with minimal disruption
- Leadership has clear visibility into capacity, enabling smarter planning and decision-making

Pay Rate Range: $45-55 per hour, based on experience
