Our client is a law firm with offices across the United States and abroad. They are seeking a Legal Secretary (Labor & Employment) to join the team in NYC. The position is hybrid and based part of the week out of their office in Downtown Manhattan. Who You Are
- You have 4+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary, with experience in Labor & Employment law
- Expert at managing calendars, coordinating logistics, and handling administrative tasks
- Skilled in drafting and editing professional documents and correspondence
- Proficient in time entry and expense reporting systems
What You’ll Do
- Answer phones, relay messages, and provide general administrative support
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and events, including managing catering and other logistics
- Assist with onboarding activities for new hires
- Maintain both physical and electronic files, ensuring proper organization and compliance with document management protocols
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, order office supplies, and liaise with building management for facility needs
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage related logistics
- Prepare and submit expense reports while reconciling credit card transactions
- Assist with conflict checks and opening new matters
- Enter time charges accurately and promptly
What Success Looks Like
- Schedules, travel, and meetings are seamlessly coordinated
- Expense reports and time entries are entered accurately
- Files and documentation are well-organized and meet compliance standards
Salary Range: $105,000 – 120,000 annually, based on experience
