A globally engaged, values-driven law firm is seeking a Legal Billing Coordinator to support its legal operations on a part-time, temporary basis. Please Note: This is a part-time, temporary position; approximately 20 hours per week.
Who You Are
- You bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in legal billing
- You have an Associate’s degree or higher
- Confident using tools like LeanLaw, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Proactive communicator who can manage multiple priorities
- Mandarin language skills are a strong plus!
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily financial recordkeeping and ensure accurate data entry in QuickBooks
- Support billing operations, including expense reconciliation and pre-bill review
- Generate and distribute client invoices on a consistent schedule
- Track receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and collaborate with attorneys on time entry accuracy
- Prepare and submit invoices through LeanLaw
- Provide regular reporting on billing performance and trends
What Success Looks Like
- Invoices are sent out promptly and accurately
- Outstanding balances are monitored and reduced through timely follow-ups
- Billing processes run smoothly with clear communication between finance and legal teams
- You contribute to a well-organized, efficient, and compliant billing operation
Pay Rate Range: $28-30 per hour, based on experience
