A private school in New Rochelle is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the team on a temporary basis.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience supporting end users in a professional IT environment
- Comfortable with Windows workstations, business applications, and office peripherals
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Able to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users
- Organized when handling multiple requests and priorities
- Familiar with IT service ticketing systems
- Reliable communicator who keeps users informed during issue resolution
- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on helpful, professional support
What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for employee technology support needs
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving computers, operating systems, applications, and printers
- Configure devices and system access for new hires, including workstation setup and account provisioning
- Install and update approved software on user machines
- Record and manage requests in the service ticketing system
- Prioritize support issues and escalate more complex technical problems when needed
- Guide employees through troubleshooting steps and basic system use
- Identify recurring problems and share feedback to improve IT operations

- Employees receive timely support that minimizes disruption to their work
- Support tickets are accurately documented and resolved within expected timeframes
- New hires receive properly configured devices and system access on day one
- Issues are resolved efficiently with fewer repeat incidents

Pay Rate Range: $30-35 per hour, based on experience
Location: New Rochelle, NY – On site
