Description
Our client, a global Real Estate asset manager with over $600 billion in assets under management, and a 120-year history, is seeking a Catering Assistant. The position is based on site in downtown Manhattan.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of catering support experience, preferably in hospitality, catering, or a service-focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Calm, resourceful, and comfortable troubleshooting issues in real time
- Able to stand for extended periods and assist with hands-on event operations
What You’ll Do
- Set up and support executive meetings, special events, and conference center functions
- Coordinate catering, vendors, meeting technology, and event logistics
- Provide attentive service to executives, employees, and external guests
- Maintain conference rooms and shared spaces to exceptional presentation standards
- Assist with meeting technology and coordinate technical support when needed
- Respond professionally to guest requests and service concerns

- Meetings and events run smoothly from setup through breakdown
- Executives and guests receive consistently responsive, high-quality service
- Conference spaces remain organized, professional, and ready for use
Salary Range: $60,000 - 70,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Downtown Manhattan, NYC -- Fully on site
