They are seeking a Docketing Manager to join the team in support of their Court Services team. This role is ideal for an experienced docketing professional with deep knowledge of California court rules and a strong focus on accuracy and risk management.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience in litigation calendaring, docketing, and court procedures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong knowledge of California state, appellate, and federal court rules and procedures
- Experienced with e-filing platforms including CM/ECF, Odyssey, Tyler Technologies, TrueFiling, and File & ServeXpress
- Proficient with Aderant CompuLaw, CourtAlert, or comparable docketing systems
- Highly organized and comfortable managing high-volume, deadline-driven work
What You’ll Do
- Review and verify procedural deadline calculations and calendaring entries
- Ensure consistent and accurate docketing practices across litigation matters
- Advise attorneys and case teams on calendaring, civil procedure, court rules, and judges’ requirements
- Research court procedures, rules, and case histories as needed
- Support state and federal e-filings and service requirements
- Collaborate with Court Services teams across offices and help improve docketing processes
What Success Looks Like
- Litigation deadlines are calculated and calendared with exceptional accuracy
- Attorneys receive timely, reliable guidance on court procedures and filing requirements
- Docketing practices remain consistent across offices
- Court Services operations run efficiently while minimizing deadline and compliance risk
Salary Range: $85,000 – 130,000 annually, based on experience
