We’re supporting a modern, data-driven marketing organization that brings together strategists, researchers, creatives, and data scientists to build breakthrough media programs. This team sits at the intersection of science, storytelling, and performance, partnering with some of the most recognized brands across healthcare, tech, finance, entertainment, and consumer categories.
They are growing and looking for a Director, Media Strategy to lead integrated media strategy for a high-profile pharmaceutical account spanning both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and healthcare professional (HCP) audiences.
This is a senior strategic role — ideal for someone who knows how to translate business objectives into measurable cross-channel media plans, collaborate deeply with data & analytics, and own client relationships at the leadership level.
What You’ll Lead
- Own and steer DTC and HCP media strategy for a major pharma brand
- Partner closely with data scientists, media buyers, and client strategy leads
- Develop full-funnel integrated plans across endemic healthcare, EHR, point-of-care, programmatic, OOH, and conference channels
- Ensure regulatory alignment (MLR) and audience targeting compliance
- Mentor and lead a collaborative media team
- Manage vendor partners and agency relationships
- Present insights, performance recommendations, and strategic direction to senior stakeholders
Who You Are
- 12+ years of integrated media planning experience, with significant experience with both DTC + HCP
- Experience working in pharma / regulated healthcare environments
- Comfortable leading both DTC & HCP planning approaches
- Strong communicator who builds trust with senior-level client partners
- Data-informed strategist who can translate insights into direction
- A leader who develops people and drives clarity

Location: Metro New York, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation: $145K–$155K base + benefits + unlimited PTO
