An industry leader in cutting-edge technology and infrastructure solutions is seeking a Design Project Manager to join the team in Denver, CO. 

Who You Are 

  • A design project leader with 8+ years of experience in guiding multidisciplinary engineering and architectural initiatives  
  • Experienced at synchronizing internal teams and external consultants on large-scale, fast-paced projects  
  • Skilled at navigating the intersections of design, construction, and procurement in high-demand environments  
  • Adept at identifying potential risks early and implementing solutions to keep schedules on track  
  • Comfortable orchestrating complex workflows and facilitating collaboration across diverse technical disciplines  

What You’ll Do 

  • Drive alignment among architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and specialty engineering teams  
  • Manage design timelines, key milestones, and cross-discipline deliverables to match overall program schedules  
  • Act as the central liaison between engineering groups and program management for design execution  
  • Oversee creation, review, and coordination of drawings and technical documentation  
  • Lead design-focused workshops, coordination sessions, and review meetings  
  • Track and address design-related inquiries from construction teams, ensuring timely resolution  
  • Partner with procurement to integrate supplier constraints, lead times, and capabilities into design decisions  
  • Monitor potential design risks that could affect construction initiation, equipment procurement, or commissioning  

What Success Looks Like 

  • Design efforts consistently meet program timelines and budget objectives  
  • Seamless collaboration between engineering disciplines, external consultants, and procurement  
  • Timely delivery of design packages that support construction readiness and commissioning milestones  
  • Effective identification and mitigation of design risks before they impact project execution  
  • Clear, accurate, and actionable updates provided to leadership on design progress and issues 

Salary Range:  $200,000 - 250,000 annually, based on experience
