A mission-driven nonprofit is seeking a Manager of Operations & Community Engagement to help expand its reach and impact. To fulfill their mission to bring happiness to victims of domestic violence, the organization provides essential resources and a welcoming environment for those navigating major life transitions. This role offers the opportunity to support the Foundation’s Founder in shaping operations, strengthening community and donor relationships, and ensure every experience reflects the compassion, care, and respect that the organization aspires to create. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support donor engagement efforts, including outreach, communication, and tracking 
  • Manage showroom activity, scheduling, vendor coordination, and inventory 
  • Ensure a welcoming, mission-aligned experience 
  • Build relationships with clients, donors, and community partners 
  • Collaborate on fundraising initiatives and help expand community impact  
  • Support the Founder in coordinating events and speaking engagements 
  • Guide brand consistency across press and digital presence

  • Foundation and showroom operations run efficiently with clear, effective systems  
  • Clients and partners feel supported and engaged  
  • Donor relationships strengthen over time 

Who You Are 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in nonprofit operations, donor relations, community engagement, or similar 
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to connect authentically with people of all backgrounds 
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong understanding of marketing and brand presence 
  • True leader with high levels of empathy, discretion, and professionalism  

 

Salary Range:  $90,000 – 120,000 annually, based on experience 

Location:  New York, NY – On site
