Our client is a well-known higher education institution in NYC. They are seeking a Marketing Administrative Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or media
- Preferred industry experience: higher education, nonprofit, or arts and culture
- Highly organized with strong writing and editing skills
- Comfortable with digital tools, social media platforms, and content systems
What You’ll Do
- Prepare presentations, written content, and campaign materials
- Conduct research to support messaging and communications strategies
- Assist with vendor coordination, budgets, and administrative processes
- Maintain organized systems for digital assets and files
- Coordinate logistics for media, events, and content production
- Support creation and distribution of print, digital, and multimedia assets
- Track timelines and follow up to keep projects moving forward
- Draft copy for announcements, media materials, and digital platforms
- Monitor media and social channels for coverage and engagement
- Provide coordination and support for occasional after-hours events

Pay Rate Range: $32-33 per hour, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – On site
