Our client, a fast-growing global leader in the insurance industry, recently secured a $1 billion investment from a leading global investment firm, further boosting its position and fueling expansion. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join their Employee Benefits team. Reporting to the Director of Client Services, this high-energy individual will manage and grow large market clients, delivering innovative employee benefits strategies and consulting solutions to both existing and prospective clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage large, complex client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term satisfaction.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee benefits, including plan design, underwriting, and funding strategies.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills in account management and executive-level presentations.
  • Maintain accurate client data in the agency management system, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Lead new business presentations, effectively communicating value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate service plans, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and execution.
  • Resolve client issues related to eligibility, claims, coverage, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct financial reviews, provide strategic recommendations, and manage the renewal process.
  • Educate clients on regulatory and compliance changes that impact their employee benefits programs.

Preferred Location:

New York, with mandatory in-office attendance at least once a week to foster engagement, learning, and development.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits Brokerage Client Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Life/Health insurance license or ability to obtain immediately.
  • Advanced knowledge of group benefits products and vendor solutions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in plan design, underwriting, and funding strategies.
  • Expertise in industry trends and innovative insurance solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and employee benefits analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $190,000 based on experience with great benefits.
