Our client is a highly renowned retail company, with an impressive brand portfolio, based in NYC. They are seeking a Vice President of Employee Relations to join their team! This position is hybrid with 4 days onsite at their Midtown, Manhattan office.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new employee relations strategies
- Ensure compliance with all employee relations policies (labor laws and regulations)
- Oversee workplace investigations
- Ensure confidentiality to the highest degree
- Find a fair resolution to employee disputes
- Enhance employee morale
- Provide mediation as needed
- Develop conflict resolution and communication training programs
- Address workplace issues and risks
- Lead employee relations team
- Collaborate with other business leaders to align company goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years' experience in employee relations
- Familiarity with multi-state HR laws
- Experience within fashion or retail a plus
- Expert knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- Experience managing a diverse workforce
Salary Range: $195,000 - $220,000 based on experience
