Description
Our client, a premier strategic financial advisory firm headquartered in New York City, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist. This position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days at their beautiful office in Midtown Manhattan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and prepare payroll information for multiple payroll cycles
- Coordinate the collection and processing of timesheets for non-exempt employees
- Review new hire paperwork for accuracy
- Ensure payroll records are up to date by entering personnel updates into ADP Workforce Now
- Process payroll reports, resolve payroll issues, and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate and maintain employee benefit records
- Manage monthly invoices and reconciliations
- Answer questions and requests regarding payroll and benefits
- General benefit administration
- Tax reconciliations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred
- Must have worked with high net worth/family office environments
- 3-4+ years of experience processing multi-state payrolls for 300+ employees
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Tax laws required
- Experience working with weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Workday and benefits is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit a sense of urgency
- Must be detail-oriented and able to provide high-quality outputs
- Ability to handle confidential information with the necessary discretion
Salary Range: $108,000 to $132,000 based on experience
