Description
A leading global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Title & Survey Paralegal to support commercial real estate transactions ranging from single property deals to large portfolios. This role partners closely with attorneys on title, survey, and due diligence matters.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of relevant experience in title and survey review, with 7-10 years preferred
- Strong commercial real estate title and survey expertise with experience performing diligence directly
- Background in a large law firm or title company preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Word skills
- Able to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and handle confidential matters with discretion
What You'll Do
- Lead title and survey review for commercial real estate transactions
- Review title commitments, analyze exceptions, and help resolve title issues
- Prepare pro formas, endorsements, and related diligence deliverables
- Coordinate flood diligence and support transaction closings
- Work with attorneys, title companies, borrower’s counsel, and other deal parties
- Manage matters ranging from single assets to portfolios of 50+ properties
What Success Looks Like
- Title and survey issues are identified and addressed efficiently
- Due diligence is completed accurately and within tight transaction timelines
- Multiple transactions are managed effectively with minimal supervision
- Closing deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality work and accurate billable timekeeping (1,650-hour annual requirement)
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (annually based on experience)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 4 days in office)
