A leading law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join the team in Melville, NY. 

Who You Are 

  • You have 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm or in-house legal department 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred 
  • Experienced with acquisitions, dispositions, commercial lending, and financing transactions 
  • Strong background reviewing purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, settlement statements, and property records 
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions and deadlines 
  • ACRIS experience, a major plus! 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support commercial real estate transactions with a primary focus on acquisitions and dispositions, along with lending and financing matters 
  • Prepare closing checklists, critical-date memos, settlement statements, and transaction documents 
  • Coordinate due diligence, closings, and documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle 
  • Conduct entity, ownership, and property research and handle ACRIS-related matters 
  • Review title, survey, zoning, and compliance materials as needed 
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other transaction parties to keep matters moving forward 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Transactions progress smoothly from due diligence through closing 
  • Critical dates, documentation, and closing requirements are managed accurately 
  • Attorneys receive proactive and reliable transaction support 
  • Multiple active matters are handled efficiently and accurately 

Salary Range:  $70,000 – 80,000 annually, based on experience 

Location:  Melville, NY – On site
