Who You Are 

  • An experienced real estate paralegal with a strong background in complex transactions 
  • Hold a bachelor's degree and bring 10+ years of experience in an Am Law 100 firm 
  • Skilled in due diligence, document prep, and managing high-volume deal flow 
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and third-party vendors 
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective under tight deadlines 
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing and organizational skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support attorneys in residential and commercial closings, including contract prep and post-closing follow-up 
  • Review and summarize leases, title reports, surveys, zoning, UCC, and litigation searches 
  • Coordinate with title companies and vendors to resolve issues and finalize documentation 
  • Draft ancillary documents including mortgage assignments, escrow instructions, and loan payoff materials 
  • Assist with issuance of UCC policies and mezzanine endorsements 
  • Manage lease abstraction and due diligence reporting for acquisitions and financings 
  • Handle closings for condominiums, cooperatives, and real property transactions 
  • Communicate directly with surveyors, zoning firms, and title agents to resolve open items 
  • Track closing logistics and coordinate with all parties to ensure deadlines are met

Salary Range: $140,000 – 200,000 annually, based on experience 

Location:  New York, NY – Hybrid
