A leading law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join a team that handles complex commercial real estate matters across multiple jurisdictions. Who You Are
- A paralegal with at least 6 years of experience supporting commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting
- Highly skilled in title, survey, and zoning review, with a strong understanding of ALTA and NSPS standards
- Familiar with New York conveyancing procedures and proficient in using ACRIS
- Known for your attention to detail, organizational strength, and ability to manage competing priorities
- A clear communicator who thrives in collaborative environments and builds trust across teams
- Technologically adept and quick to learn new software and systems
- Flexible and responsive to evolving needs, including occasional overtime
What You’ll Do
- Review and summarize title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports for internal and client use
- Draft and negotiate title-related documents including objection letters, clearance materials, and conveyance forms
- Support attorneys in managing acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and development deals
- Coordinate execution and recording of real estate documents across jurisdictions
- Advise on title insurance and survey standards, and assist with curative actions
- Maintain post-closing records and prepare closing binders in line with firm procedures
- Participate in mentoring and professional development initiatives within the real estate team
- Collaborate with external providers such as title companies, surveyors, and zoning consultants
- Travel to firm offices as needed to support team engagement and transaction execution

Salary Range: $125,000 – 135,000 annually, based on experience
