Description
Our client, a storied NYC law firm, is seeking a Professional Development Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their office in Midtown, Manhattan.
Job Details
- Provide general administrative support to the Professional Development department
- Act as point person for attorney questions about professional development resources
- Manage department calendar and training schedule
- Coordinate logistics for training events, such as managing RSVPs, preparing presentation materials, and liaising with catering vendors
- Maintain detailed records, documents, and Excel spreadsheets
- Prepare and file compliance documents related to continuing legal education
- Pay rate: $30-35 per hour, based on experience
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years’ administrative experience in a professional services environment
- Preferred: Human Resources and Learning/Development experience
- Law firm experience, a major plus!
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Top-notch writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to collaborate seamlessly with all levels of employees
