A prominent New York-based real estate law firm is seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to join their team. This is a dynamic role which incorporates Operations, HR support, and Office Management for a boutique-sized firm!
Who You Are
- Office operations/HR professional with 7–10 years of relevant experience
- Must have experience leading a team of office professionals
- ADP payroll and benefits administration skills
- Experienced with HR administration, vendors, and staff relations
- Confident communicator comfortable working with partners and leadership
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates and addresses issues early
What You’ll Do
- Own office administration, operations, and daily workflow
- Supervise a team of 15, including administrative and office support staff
- Oversee HR functions including ADP payroll, benefits, open enrollment, PTO, hiring, and employee relations
- Create and maintain office policies, procedures, and standards
- Act as liaison between staff and leadership to support clear communication
- Manage onboarding, exits, compliance, and disciplinary processes
- Partner with IT on equipment, cybersecurity, and document management
- Oversee vendors, contracts, insurance, supplies, facilities, and events
- Coordinate records storage and management
What Success Looks Like
- Payroll, benefits, and PTO are accurate and run smoothly
- Staff are informed, supported, and aligned with leadership
- Issues are resolved quickly and avoid unnecessary escalation
- Operations run efficiently with clear, current procedures
- Leadership receives consistent, useful status updates
Salary Range: $100,000 – 125,000 annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – Fully on site
