A top plaintiff’s litigation firm is seeking a Managing Clerk to join the team in Ridgefield, NJ.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years of experience in a managing clerk, docketing, or litigation support role within a law firm
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court filing procedures and rules
- Experienced with electronic filing systems and mainstream docketing platforms
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines in high-volume environments
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator who works well across legal teams, courts, and external vendors
- Comfortable handling complex filings and court-compliant document formatting
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and oversee docketing records, court deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Coordinate and submit electronic filings across federal and state courts
- Review filings for procedural compliance and formatting accuracy prior to submission
- Monitor court activity and distribute updates related to case developments and deadlines
- Provide guidance to attorneys and staff regarding court procedures and filing requirements
- Manage litigation-related correspondence, alerts, and shared inbox workflows
- Coordinate with courts, vendors, and internal teams to support active matters
- Assist with operational projects and broader litigation support initiatives
What Success Looks Like
- Court filings and docket entries are completed accurately and on time
- Attorneys and litigation teams receive reliable procedural and filing support
- Deadlines, court updates, and case activity are tracked proactively
- High-volume litigation workflows are managed efficiently with minimal errors
Salary Range: $115,000 – 130,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Ridgefield, NJ – Hybrid
