Description
A prestigious litigation firm with offices across the country is seeking a Legal Secretary to join the team in New York City.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience supporting attorneys in commercial litigation, including federal court exposure
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Large law firm experience required – Am Law 100 environment preferred
- Proven ability to handle workload for 5+ attorneys simultaneously
- Strong document skills, including TOA/TOC creation, formatting, and proofreading
- Experience with NY state and federal e-filing systems, including ECF
- Familiarity with tools such as iManage, PACER, and Chrome River
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative and litigation support to a team of attorneys
- Prepare, edit, and finalize legal documents and filings
- Manage court submissions in compliance with applicable rules
- Track deadlines, maintain calendars, and coordinate scheduling
- Maintain and organize client files across systems
- Support billing processes, including time entry and invoice review
- Assist with new matter intake and file setup
- Handle communications, coordinate travel, and support day-to-day operations

- Attorneys receive consistent, high-quality support
- Communication is clear, professional, and responsive
- Documents are polished and ready for client or court submission
- Billing and administrative processes run efficiently
Salary Range: $95,000 – 110,000 annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
