Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Finance Paralegal to join their team! This position is hybrid, based 3 days in their wonderful Midtown, Manhattan office.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare UCC documents and coordinate filing UCCs with various service providers
- Prepare and file EIN applications
- Perform research on existing entities
- Obtain documents from different government agencies (local, state, Secreatary of State, etc.)
- Order, review, and summarize lien searches
- Draft short form agreements, certificates, and resolutions
- Edit promissory notes, guaranties, finance statements and other documents
- Analyze revisions between drafts of various transaction documents
- Coordinate Sales Finance License applications
- Manage and track document progress and signatures
- Coordinate electronic file sharing
- Create and maintain closing checklists to ensure conditions are met
- Perform post-closing duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Paralegal education from ABA approved program
- 10+ years’ paralegal experience
- Extensive financial transactional experience
- Experience with UCCs, EIN applications, FDIC, OCC, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Notary experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 based on experience
