Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in business development at a law firm
- Corporate/M&A experience required
- Deeply familiar with the corporate legal landscape and its competitive dynamics
- Comfortable working directly with senior partners and building consensus across teams
- Skilled in crafting compelling communications and strategic marketing materials
- Analytical and resourceful, with a talent for turning data into actionable insights
What You’ll Do
- Partner with attorneys to develop and execute tailored business development plans
- Conduct market and client research to uncover new opportunities
- Drive strategic initiatives to grow the Corporate practice’s client base and market visibility
- Lead the creation of pitches, proposals, presentations and other client-facing materials
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of pitches and proposals
- Manage submissions for legal rankings, awards and industry recognitions
- Maintain and update marketing content including website sections and experience lists
- Identify and pursue speaking engagements, sponsorships and other visibility opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and client news to identify and share lead generation insights
- Collaborate across practice groups to support cross-selling and relationship expansion

- Strong pipeline of qualified leads and new client engagements
- High-quality, timely delivery of pitches and proposals with measurable outcomes
- Consistent identification of new opportunities through research and market monitoring
- Well-maintained and up-to-date marketing assets that reflect the practice’s strengths
- Successful execution of events and profile-raising initiatives
Salary Range: $160,000 – 200,000 annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
