A leading international company is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their in-house legal department on a temporary basis. This position offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in a high-impact legal environment that touches nearly every aspect of the business.
Who You Are
- You have experience supporting legal teams, preferably in an in-house environment
- Strong understanding of legal office operations, document handling, and basic legal terminology
- Comfortable with a role that mixes traditional admin work with legal process support
- Confident managing mail, filings, scheduling, and expense processing
- Skilled in coordinating logistics for legal documents, including notarization, shipping, and certifications
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate signature processes for both electronic and physical documents
- Handle mail intake, scanning, and distribution for the legal team
- Manage shipping needs including FedEx, UPS, and time-sensitive document delivery
- Provide notary support to legal and cross-functional teams
- Schedule meetings and assist with travel planning for attorneys
- Track and process invoices, including litigation settlements and instant checks
- Assist with preparing and submitting attorney expense reports
- Maintain and organize legal files, binders, and confidential materials
- Help coordinate apostille and document certification processes
- Serve as a reliable backup for service of process handling

- Invoices and expenses are processed on time
Pay Rate Range: $30-34 per hour, based on experience
Location: Parsippany, NJ – On site
