A dynamic and growing financial advisory firm is on a mission to help clients achieve their most ambitious financial goals. Since 1995, it has built a reputation for independence, innovation, and deep client relationships, now managing over $29 billion in assets. They are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is fully remote, however candidates must reside in New York.
Who You Are
- You have 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong administrative, data entry, and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Experience with HRIS systems, employee records, or onboarding processes
- Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
What You'll Do
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, communications, and tracking required paperwork
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and electronic personnel files
- Process HR documentation, update employee information, and manage shared HR inboxes
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct complex matters to the appropriate HR team member
- Assist with training logistics, employee engagement initiatives, reporting, and other HR projects
- Provide administrative support to help ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations
What Success Looks Like
- HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Employee records and documentation remain organized and up to date
- New hires and employees receive responsive, professional support
- The HR team is supported through strong organization, accuracy, and dependable follow-through
Pay Rate Range: $25-30 per hour, based on experience
Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in New York
