Description
A boutique private equity firm based in New York City is seeking an HR Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis. This position is fully on site 5 days per week in Midtown Manhattan.
Who You Are
- You have a strong HR background with a least 5 years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, and performance management
- TriNet experience, highly preferred
- Customer service mindset with ability to manage administrative and HR tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
What You’ll Do
- Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
- Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity across systems
What Success Looks Like
- Payroll and benefits are processed accurately and on time
- Employees receive timely and helpful support for HR-related inquiries
- Recruiting and onboarding processes run smoothly and efficiently
- HR data and documentation are consistently accurate and up to date
Pay Rate Range: $55-65 per hour, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – On site
