A brand redefining functional wellness and precision therapies is expanding nationally with high-end locations across NYC and satellites in major cities nationally. In response to their growth, they are seeking a Head of Marketing, will lead brand strategy, customer acquisition, and growth initiatives to elevate the company’s customers and loyalty. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-growth environment and can shape the future of an evolving brand. Base salary ranges 170-180k + substantial bonus.

 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of performance marketers, establishing goals aligned with company objectives. Manage cross-functional partnerships with leaders in Ops, Client Services, Finance, and Store teams.
  2. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and drive innovative sales strategies to meet revenue targets with a focus on sustainable, efficient growth. Manage the marketing budget for maximum impact and ROI, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  3. Acquisition Marketing: Oversee all paid media investments, scaling and optimizing to acquire new customers effectively (LTV/CAC) and efficiently (ROAS). Build and monitor paid media KPI reporting and establish strategic partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive revenue.
  4. Retention Marketing: Oversee a coordinated retention marketing strategy to grow the high-value client base, increase brand loyalty, and improve client LTV. Lead CRM strategies for new store, product, and service launches, and develop multi-channel behavioral programs targeting the full customer lifecycle.
  5. Brand Identity & Awareness: Own the overarching brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints. Oversee web and social content creation, maintaining strong marketing relationships with co-located properties to grow on-property brand awareness and revenue.
  6. Client Engagement & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering insights and recommendations on key projects. Provide performance reports and insights to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  7. Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, maintain, and implement SOPs for the team, ensuring all deliverables meet company standards through final QA and established procedures.

Screening Requirements

  1. Professional Experience: Proven 10-13 years in marketing with 5+ years as Head of Marketing or a similar marketing leadership role, managing at least 3 separate brands.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of brand and digital marketing channels, including events, PR, influencers, OOH, web/eCommerce, SEO, paid search, display, paid social, email, and SMS. Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics software and tools.
  3. Analytical & Organizational Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills with an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  4. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for health and wellness, a positive attitude, and a people-first perspective. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
