A top-tier global law firm is seeking a Fund Formation Paralegal to join the team in Chicago, IL.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of fund formation experience in a paralegal capacity
- Paralegal certification, preferred
- Familiar with documentation used in private fund and investment vehicle structures
- Knowledge of federal and state securities rules related to private offerings
- Strong organizational, proofreading, and written communication skills
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys advising venture capital and investment fund clients
- Coordinate documentation used to establish and maintain investment entities
- Draft and organize materials related to investor participation and fund governance
- Review investor onboarding materials for eligibility and compliance
- Assist with securities law research and preparation of required regulatory notices
- Compile documentation supporting diligence efforts and attorney analysis
- Assist with regulatory reporting tied to venture fund public company holdings
- Maintain accurate time entries and support general administrative needs

- Fund-related documentation and filings are accurate and completed on schedule
- Attorneys receive reliable support across multiple matters
- Investor and regulatory materials are organized and well maintained
- Work is delivered with strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Deadlines and administrative responsibilities are handled consistently
Salary Range: $65,000 – 115,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid
