Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned Facilities Director to oversee operations across multiple corporate locations in New York and Connecticut. This highly visible leadership role involves managing a hybrid facilities team and ensuring efficient operations across HVAC, lighting control, cleaning services, mailroom, and reprographics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead facilities teams to ensure seamless operations in maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, and office services.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs for building systems with external vendors and landlords.
- Collaborate with property management and vendors to maintain contract compliance and high operational standards.
- Oversee facilities budgets, vendor invoicing, and cost optimization strategies.
- Administer workplace help desk systems to promptly resolve maintenance and service issues.
- Support business continuity, emergency planning, and fire/life safety protocols.
- Deliver training and development programs for internal and third-party teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of facilities management experience in Class-A office spaces, ideally within financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional team-building, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Compensation:
Base salary: $215,000–$230,000
Total compensation: $270,000–$290,000 (includes discretionary annual bonus).
