Description
A prominent New York City-based nonprofit with a focus on healthcare is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of administrative experience; nonprofit experience is a plus!
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced with databases; Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Previous exposure to international health programs, fellowships, or diplomacy is a plus
What You’ll Do
- Provide clerical support such as calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and phone coverage
- Coordinate inquiries, track deadlines, schedule meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Organize and provide day-of coordination for virtual and in-person seminars and events
- Prepare correspondence and meeting materials, including presentations
- Maintain alumni contact information and assist with outreach efforts
- Assist finance team with reconciliation, reporting, and payment requisitions

- Deadlines are consistently met and program operations run smoothly
- Meetings and events are well-coordinated with accurate materials prepared in advance
- Communication with internal teams, partners, and alumni is timely and professional
- Financial and administrative records are accurate and up to date
- You demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in supporting a dynamic international team
Pay Rate Range: $30-35 per hour, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
