The Executive Vice President of Acquisitions & Capital Markets is responsible for real estate transactions including new acquisitions, disposition, capital raising, and financing. This individual will develop, grow, and sustain a diverse portfolio of commercial office real estate assets through acquisitions using their vast relationships with banking and investment communities, as well as financial partners and industry contacts. This position will also provide strategic operational and fiduciary leadership for all operating assets owned by the Company. This position will collaborate with the EVP of Development and other key stakeholders on the executive and senior leadership teams

A leading independent real estate investment company, specializing delivering value and providing investment opportunities across diverse asset classes (Mixed Use, Office, Industrial, Retail). Known for its integrity and vision, the company excels in all facets of real estate, including acquisition, entitlement, and development of commercial, multi-family, and residential properties. In response to growth, they are seeking an Executive Vice President of Capital Markets to manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, capital raising, and financing. This role involves leveraging strong relationships with financing partners to acquire and dispose assets, at competitive  returns for the firm and its investors. The EVP will also provide strategic, operational and fiduciary leadership, leading an experienced team and collaborating with firm leadership.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead all functions of the Capital Markets team, ensuring the quality of all investments, transactions and deliverables.
- Direct all aspects of acquisitions, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, securing debt and equity, and dispositions, while also establishing investor relationships to form joint ventures, funds, and property portfolios.
- Develop investment memoranda and provide strategic property portfolio enhancement recommendations to executive management.
- Oversee market research, site due diligence, financial modeling, feasibility studies, and investment recommendations for acquisition opportunities.
- Structure, negotiate and manage debt and equity financing for acquisitions.
- Lead investor communications and performance reporting.
- Manage asset and capital improvement projects, annual budget processes, and financial projections for the portfolio.
- Enhance operational efficiencies by improving processes, procedures, and system usage.

Desired Experience
- 15+ years in commercial real estate investment, with a focus on acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets with 5+ years team management.
- Experience negotiating investment capital stack documents.
- Expertise in financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills and sound business judgment.
- Extensive experience in asset valuations, underwriting, and investment committee presentations.

Salary Range: $300,000-$375,000 based on experience.
