Description
Our client, a top 100 law firm, is seeking a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager to join their team in Boston or New York. You will manage all aspects of the Equity Advisory Council (EAC), including the EAC Academy while collaborating closely with the Professional Development, Business Development, and DEI teams.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with DEI, PD, BD, and EAC teams to develop and advance equity initiatives across the firm
• Oversee BD and PD functions for Partners and Associates enrolled in EAC programs
• Develop and maintain a database of information, strategy, meeting notes, and feedback
• Manage teams responsible for EAC Academy deliverables, ensuring steady progress
• Coordinate logistics for EAC and EAC Academy, including calendar invites, agendas, and meeting notes
• Build strong relationships with attorneys
• Develop networks of internal and external stakeholders for the EAC
• Oversee the EAC Academy’s year-long program and assist in running it
• Manage the EAC budget
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or other advanced degree welcomed
• 7+ years of experience in professional or business development, preferably in a law firm
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging
• Ability to coordinate and lead complex teams for innovative development programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence others
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate and gain trust with attorneys and staff
• High level of diplomacy, tact, and discretion when handling confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation tools
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Experience in employee relations, performance improvement, and separation

Salary Range: $105,000-150,000k based on experience. This is a hybrid role.
