Description
Our client, an established investment management firm, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their team! This position is fully onsite at their beautiful office in Midtown, Manhattan.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with recruitment efforts (applicants, interviews, decisions, etc.)
- Develop and support firm’s training programs
- Maintain HR policies and procedures by ensuring compliance with regulations as well as aligning with the culture and values of the firm
- Coordinate the roll out of firm communications and updates
- Collaborate with the benefit design committee by providing insight on benefit options
- Help with team building events and planning of firm functions
- Design professional development initiatives and support systems
- Support administration of health and ancillary benefits
- Assist with implementation of a centralized HR portal
- Manage handbook and relevant manuals
- Evaluate and resolve employee relations matters
- Work with various departments to design and maintain a performance review process
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-7 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, preferably with financial acumen
- SHRM Certified or willing to obtain the certification
- Proficient in technology systems and computer literacy
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups
- Maintain discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information
- Willingness to continue learning through different initiatives to maintain submit matter expertise
Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 based on experience + discretionary bonus
