As the Director of Buyer Science, you will be front and center as the consultant to executive level clients within top brands, playing a pivotal role in ensuring media campaigns are grounded in scientific principles and optimized by data-driven insights. Your will be to collaborate closely with media strategists and clients, elevating media performance and delivering tangible business value.
Responsibilities:
- Develop hyper-scientific media campaign strategies at the cutting edge of the industry.
- Collaborate with media strategists and clients to elevate media performance and drive business value.
- Collaborate with media planners and channel teams to ensure scientific resource allocations.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement technical approaches to media challenges.
- Collaborate with senior leads to develop solutions that work across all teams.
- Work with data scientists to create campaign measurement strategies and experimentation plans.
- Frame analyses, stories, and slides for client media plans and reports.
- Serve as the main client contact for campaign measurement, optimization, and data infrastructure.
- Evaluate and onboard measurement vendors in the industry.
- Drive the adoption of new tools and approaches across the team.
- Educate clients on how modern techniques can optimize business and media KPIs.
- Create best practices decks for the organization and occasionally for clients.
Requirements:
- 8-11 years Data Science or Media Analytics experience within agencies, consulting firms or data platforms
- Experience translating complex data into clear and well supported strategic recommendations
- Proven experience in data-driven media planning, campaign measurement, and optimization.
- Deep understanding of modern analytical techniques, ML models, optimization algorithms, and automation in media campaigns.
The salary ranges between $150,000-$170,000, based on experience.
