Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Community School Director to join their wonderful team! This position is fully on site in New York City.
Job Details
- Act as primary liaison for new partner programs and organizations
- Ensure school partners are working in alignment with school faculty
- Manage recruitment and supervise staff
- Seek feedback from stakeholders and prepare needs assessments
- Manage targeted interventions and make referrals, as needed, for students with high needs
- Develop and supervise programs for afterschool learning opportunities
- Assist with funding development and grants management
- Ensure programs are in compliance with DOE, DOHMH, local, state, and federal regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Child Development, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Working knowledge of public education and after school systems
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and project management skills
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled at community organizing and outreach
Salary Range: $70-75k annually, based on experience
