Our client, a leading law firm based in NYC, is seeking a Benefits and Wellness Assistant to join the team. The position is hybrid and based 3 days per week at their Midtown, Manhattan office. The firm offers excellent benefits including generous PTO and 401(k) with matching!
Job Details
- Manage and update confidential data in HRIS
- Answer employee questions regarding benefits information
- Process Leave of Absences, including FMLA and disability claims
- Track data points such as dates of leaves and prepare reports
- Assist payroll team with changes in benefits allocations and payments
- Coordinate office events such as blood drives and other wellness initiatives
- Assist with lactation room scheduling and inventory management
- Draft and distribute communications, including regularly scheduled updates
- Salary Range: $60-75k annually, based on experience

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years’ Benefits Administration experience
- Must have HRIS experience
- Law firm experience, a major plus!
- Deep working knowledge of ACA provisions, FMLA, and ADA
- Dedicated to details, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highest standard of confidentiality and discretion
