A premier real estate and economic development consulting firm is seeking a Director of Talent Management to join the team in New York City. Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of progressive HR experience and 5+ years of recruiting experience
- Strong expertise in TA, performance management, L&D, leadership development, and organizational development
- Familiar with Airtable, Salesforce, Insperity (HRIS), and Lattice
- Prior experience in consulting or professional services
- SHRM‑SCP or SPHR certification, a plus!
What You’ll Do
- Strengthen the employee lifecycle through initiatives that expand learning, capability growth, and career development
- Advise leaders on talent practices, from hiring approaches to development planning
- Build simple, scalable frameworks that support coaching, feedback, and team development
- Oversee tools that integrate performance data, learning activity, and talent insights
- Assess organizational needs to determine skill priorities, emerging roles, and mobility paths
- Deliver core development offerings including multi‑session training, targeted workshops, and firmwide learning events
- Manage performance cycles to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment across teams
- Embed equity and inclusion principles within all talent programs

- A cohesive talent strategy is embedded across the organization and actively used by senior leadership
- Clear pathways for employee growth and internal mobility are established and widely adopted
- Learning programs deliver measurable skill development
- Performance management cycles are completed reliably and reflect fair, consistent expectations
- Managers demonstrate increased capability in coaching, developing, and evaluating their teams
- Talent data is routinely analyzed and applied to decision making
Salary Range: $130,000 – 150,000 annually, based on experience
Other Compensation: Bonus + ESOP participation
