Our client is a strategic communications firm with a reputation for developing high-profile strategies & valued counsel for highly visible companies, organizations, institutions, and business influencers. They are seeking a Communications Supervisor with a keen pulse on the evolving tech landscape to lead influential work with business icons, helping them to curate valued thought leadership and influence the responsible adoption and regulation of leading-edge technology. The successful candidate will draw on deep media connections and comfort in advising high-profile executives.
This hybrid position is based 3 out of 5 days onsite at their New York City office.

Job Details
- Collaboratively with senior leadership to develop communications plans that meet client objectives
- Curate, develop, and create press around influential thought leadership around all aspects of the responsible adoption and regulation of leading-edge technology.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Lead client communications including meetings, daily emails & executive presentations
- Research & evaluate client & industry information to develop creative & strategic plans
- Analyze industry news & data for relevant insights & trends to implement or share with clients & peers
- Pitch national & regional print, online, broadcast & trade media outlets
- Develop engaging materials (fact sheets, press releases, reports, pitches, expert Q+A) that accurately communicate client’s programs, goals, priorities, etc.
- Set priorities & organize tasks to meet internal & external deadlines

Qualifications
- 4-6 years of communications experience with at least 1-year experience in a fast-paced agency leading corporate communications engagements with professional services or financial services brands.
- Experience in technology communications, thought leadership and media relations

* Salary Range $105,000-$120,000 based on experience.
