Dedicated to Diversity
Gainor was founded by two women in an era when women faced many hurdles: banks were hesitant to grant loans and landlords were reluctant to lease offices to women owners. The challenges Gail Tessler and Norma Menkin faced in realizing their dream of owning and operating a business laid the groundwork for their commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging from the very beginning.
Today, Gainor remains committed to supporting the empowerment and advancement of diverse individuals.
We understand that actions (not words) help move us closer to truly equal opportunity. Here are the actions we take:
- Gainor employees and managers participate in continuous learning on the application of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in our work and interactions.
- Gainor donates and supports organizations working towards a more equitable world.
- Gainor participates in task forces nationally and locally to promote education and elevate diverse populations within the staffing industry, including with the New York Staffing Association and American Staffing Association.
