Description
Join a leading law firm as a Senior Manager of Human Resources, serving as a strategic HR partner to leadership, attorneys, & professional staff. This role will lead employee relations and key firmwide HR initiatives.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years of experience in progressive HR roles, including employee relations
- You bring strategic HRBP experience with strengths in investigations, conflict resolution, leadership coaching, & employment law compliance
- You have experience advising senior leadership and supervising HR team members
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Law firm HR experience is strongly preferred; immigration law knowledge is highly desired
What You’ll Do
- Advise leaders on employee relations, HR strategy, policy, & compliance
- Lead complex investigations and partner with employment counsel & the General Counsel’s Office
- Drive retention, performance management, training, mentoring, & succession planning initiatives
- Oversee leave administration, staff evaluations, & related HR processes
- Coach leaders and supervise HR Coordinator/Leave Administration responsibilities

Salary Range: $150,000-$230,000 (annually based on experience)
Location: Chicago (Hybrid)
