A religious day school in Hartsdale, NY is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team on a part-time, temporary basis.
Who You Are
- Experienced in end-to-end accounts payable processes
- Highly proficient with Bill.com and automated AP workflows
- Skilled in Excel and Google Sheets for financial tracking and analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in reviewing financial documents
- Effective communicator with experience managing vendor interactions
- Able to step into a role quickly and operate with minimal ramp-up
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities within a cloud-based system
- Review and validate invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals
- Coordinate with vendors to address discrepancies and payment inquiries
- Maintain organized digital records and supporting documentation
- Assist with general administrative needs within the business office
What Success Looks Like
- AP operations run smoothly with accurate and timely processing
- Invoice discrepancies are resolved quickly with minimal disruption
- Vendor relationships remain positive and responsive
- Financial records are well-organized and audit-ready
- The broader team is effectively supported in day-to-day operations
Pay Rate Range: $28-33 per hour, based on experience
Time Commitment: Temporary, part-time (10-15 hours per week)
Location: Hartsdale, NY – Fully on site
