An international financial services company is seeking an Attorney with structured finance expertise to join the team on a 4-month temporary assignment. 

Who You Are 

  • Attorney admitted to the New York State Bar 
  • 4+ years of experience focused on CLO, ABS, structured finance, and warehouse lending transactions at a law firm or in-house setting 
  • Able to independently run credit agreements, manage redlines, coordinate with outside counsel, and drive documentation through execution in a high-volume environment 
  • Strong working knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Dodd-Frank, with broker-dealer and Volcker Rule familiarity considered a plus 

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide dedicated legal coverage for a high-activity CLO and ABS platform 
  • Structure, draft, and negotiate credit agreements, warehouse facilities, structured finance documents, and related offering materials across public and private capital markets transactions 
  • Advise trading and structuring teams on securities law and regulatory considerations while maintaining ownership of documentation strategy, timelines, and outside counsel coordination 
  • Support cross-border and multi-strategy transactions and collaborate with senior legal leadership and global infrastructure partners 
  • Maintain responsiveness to active deal flow, including occasional after-hours or weekend email engagement as needed 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Transactions move efficiently from structuring through closing 
  • Business stakeholders rely on you for commercially grounded, practical legal advice across CLO, ABS, and lending matters 
  • Documentation processes, regulatory compliance, and outside counsel interactions are managed seamlessly 

Pay Rate Range:  $95-110 per hour, based on experience 

Time Commitment:  4-month temporary assignment 

Location:  New York, NY – Hybrid
