Description
Our client, an international investment firm, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join the team on a long-term temporary basis. The position is on site at their beautiful Midtown, Manhattan office.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience supporting facilities in a corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, MEP, lighting controls, and building management systems
- Experienced managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service
- Clear communicator – verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- You have a service-oriented mindset with a positive, team-focused approach
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required and perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Must be willing to monitor and respond to facilities-related emails outside standard business hours, as necessary
What You’ll Do
- Manage facilities requests through an internal ticketing system
- Perform regular walkthroughs to identify maintenance and repair needs
- Coordinate vendor access with building management and onsite security
- Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and recurring maintenance
- Ensure vendors meet timelines and performance expectations
- Troubleshoot basic facilities issues before escalating when appropriate
- Track facilities supplies and manage ordering
- Support office moves, renovations, and space changes
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance, as needed
- Assist with event setups in coordination with the events team
- Maintain incident documentation and reports
- Adjust work hours as needed to support operational needs

Pay Rate Range: $40-45 per hour, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – On site
