Our client is a prestigious national law firm. They are seeking a Docketing Manager to join the team. The position is hybrid and based in Hackensack, NJ.
Who You Are
- Litigation docketing professional with at least 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules and deadlines
- Experienced with docketing systems – CourtAlert highly preferred
- Clear communicator who collaborates effectively with attorneys and staff
- Detail-focused leader capable of training and supervising docketing personnel
What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain the firm’s litigation docketing and calendaring system
- Work closely with litigators to ensure all deadlines and court dates are accurately tracked
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in docket entries
- Update procedures and system templates in response to court rule changes
- Create and maintain firmwide docketing guidelines
- Provide training to staff on docketing processes and system use
- Collaborate with the docketing vendor and internal IT teams
- Oversee docketing staff when applicable and prepare compliance reports
What Success Looks Like
- Deadlines and court appearances are consistent, accurate, and compliant
- Procedures are clear, current, and consistently followed
- The docketing system supports efficient litigation workflows
- Staff are confident and well supported in their docketing responsibilities
Salary Range: $100,000 – 135,000 annually, based on experience
Location: Hackensack, NJ – Hybrid
