A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives. 

Who You Are 

  • A business development professional with a university degree and 5–7 years of experience in professional services; legal experience a major plus! 
  • At least 2 years of people management experience preferred 
  • Confident working with partners and senior leadership 
  • A strong writer with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, client-facing content 
  • Experienced in strategic business development planning and pitch development 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Able to work outside normal business hours and travel occasionally 

What You’ll Do 

  • Execute business development strategies for multiple practice groups 
  • Support priority client development through targeting, planning, and relationship growth 
  • Lead pitches and RFPs, including strategy development and outcome tracking 
  • Manage practice marketing materials, including deal lists and experience content 
  • Partner with internal teams on visibility initiatives, rankings, and thought leadership 
  • Plan and oversee client events, seminars, and targeted marketing efforts 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Business plans translate into meaningful growth for supported practices 
  • Marketing materials accurately reflect practice capabilities 
  • Pitches and proposals are competitive, strategic, and well executed 
  • Key client relationships show sustained expansion 

Salary Range:  $160,000 – 175,000 annually, based on experience 

Location:  New York, NY – On site
