A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives.
Who You Are
- A business development professional with a university degree and 5–7 years of experience in professional services; legal experience a major plus!
- At least 2 years of people management experience preferred
- Confident working with partners and senior leadership
- A strong writer with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, client-facing content
- Experienced in strategic business development planning and pitch development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Able to work outside normal business hours and travel occasionally
What You’ll Do
- Execute business development strategies for multiple practice groups
- Support priority client development through targeting, planning, and relationship growth
- Lead pitches and RFPs, including strategy development and outcome tracking
- Manage practice marketing materials, including deal lists and experience content
- Partner with internal teams on visibility initiatives, rankings, and thought leadership
- Plan and oversee client events, seminars, and targeted marketing efforts

- Business plans translate into meaningful growth for supported practices
- Marketing materials accurately reflect practice capabilities
- Pitches and proposals are competitive, strategic, and well executed
- Key client relationships show sustained expansion
Salary Range: $160,000 – 175,000 annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – On site
